In today’s web design video, we talk about Google Chrome from the perspective of a web designer, developer or search engine optimiser. Historically both Nick and I have been fairly loyal to Firefox having used it as our default browser for years, it’s only recently that we’ve made the switch to Chrome.
As you probably know, one of the great things about Firefox is the diversity of Plugins and Extensions that you can install to tailor the browser to suit your personal needs. Over the years, we’ve both installed and removed countless plugins that support us with our day-to-day website development and SEO operations. However despite effectively ‘Growing-Up’ with Firefox, there’s a few things that annoy us and encouraged Nick and I to experiment with Google Chrome. I won’t go into detail but just generally speed and the infrequent crashing and freezing.
At first, I found myself using both browsers simultaneously. Chrome for general fast web browsing and Firefox for dissecting website coding and performance. Now however, after installing a few Chrome extensions, I’ve almost completely wheened myself of Firefox.
